⚠️ Contraindications for Microcurrent, LED Photon, Radio Frequency & Cold Hammer Therapy
At Soori Beauty Bar, your safety and well-being come first. Before undergoing any treatment, please review the following contraindications. If any apply to you, please inform your therapist and consult your healthcare provider where necessary.
❌ General Contraindications (Apply to All Modalities)
Pregnancy or breastfeeding
Epilepsy or history of seizures
Active cancer or undergoing cancer treatment
Pacemaker, defibrillator, or implanted electrical device
Open wounds, active infections, or undiagnosed skin conditions in the treatment area Recent surgery in the treatment area (within the past 6 months)
Blood disorders or use of anticoagulant medications
Uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart conditions
Fever, flu, or any active illness
Severe or cystic acne in the treatment area
⚡ Microcurrent Contraindications
Metal implants in the treatment area (dental work is generally safe)
Facial nerve disorders (e.g. Bell’s Palsy)
History of migraines triggered by electrical stimulation
Recent Botox or dermal fillers (wait at least 2 weeks)
History of epilepsy or neurological disorders
💡 LED Photon Light Therapy Contraindications
Photosensitivity (due to medical condition or medication)
Use of photosensitizing drugs (e.g. Accutane, tetracycline)
Light-sensitive migraines or seizure disorders
Retinal conditions or recent eye surgery (protective goggles will be provided)
Autoimmune disorders triggered by light (e.g. lupus)
🔥 Radio Frequency (RF) Therapy Contraindications
Metal implants, piercings, or pacemakers in or near the treatment area
Silicone or synthetic fillers in the treatment area
Active inflammation, or heat-sensitive skin conditions
History of keloid scarring or poor wound healing
❄️ Cold Hammer Therapy Contraindications
Severe cold sensitivity or cold-induced conditions (e.g. Raynaud’s Disease)
Cold urticaria (cold-induced hives or welts)
Poor circulation or vascular disorders
Skin numbness or loss of sensation in the treatment area
Recent Botox or dermal filler injections (wait at least 2 weeks)
Open wounds, broken skin, or active skin infections in the area
